We drove to Vegas and stopped for a quick bite to eat at the Ballagio. Then on to the Hoover Dam where we got out and walked around this truly magnificent structure. The water level is very low on the lake Mead side, leaving a noticable high water mark. I heard that Vegas, Phoenix and Tucson are quickly draining the reservoir. See also Hoover II
